Registration Terms and Conditions (Updated 4/25/2023)

This registration agreement includes and incorporates by reference the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) Privacy Policy and Terms of Use as posted on the KYSHRM Conference website.

Age Limitation

Attendees must be at least 18 years of age to attend the KYSHRM Conference. Requests for any exception to this term must be made in writing to Conference Management no later than thirty (30) days before the KYSHRM Conference by contacting: [email protected]

Photography, Audio and Video Recording*

Registration and attendance at or participation in the KYSHRM Conference constitute the irrevocable consent by the registrant to KYSHRM and its assigns and licensees to include the registrant or attendee’s likeness, photographic image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, or audiotapes of such event and activities, without compensation or credit, to be exploited in any media now known or hereafter devised, including derivative works thereof, for future marketing or promotional materials or any purpose whatsoever throughout the universe in perpetuity, and to be the sole property of KYSHRM. By participating, you waive any and all rights of publicity, privacy, or other rights therein. You further waive any and all rights to bring an action at law or equity against KYSRHM, its assigns, and licensees related to such action under this paragraph and release them from any and all liability related to such action under this paragraph.

Some KYSHRM Conference sessions may be recorded.

Participants may not record or broadcast audio or video of sessions at the KYSHRM Conference.

Permission to Contact

By registering to attend this conference, you give KYSHRM permission to share your contact information including your e-mail address with its sponsors and partners. You may be asked to complete a form at sponsor booths and/or session rooms, but please note completing those forms is optional. When completing a form presented by exhibitors and/or sponsors during the KYSHRM Conference, you are opting in to receive communications from that entity. You will be subject to their communications and privacy policy and must opt-out with them directly.

Soliciting

Suitcasing or outboarding is prohibited at the conference. We reserve the right to remove any individual from the KYSHRM Conference who is found to be soliciting within the confines of the event and is not an event sponsor. We encourage general conference attendees not to listen to a sales pitch from a non-sponsor or exhibitor and request notification if a solicitation is suspected . Admittance

In our sole discretion, without refund, we reserve the right to refuse admittance or expel from the Conference anyone who we determine is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the Conference or any other attendee.

Code of Conduct

KYSHRM Conference participants are expected to behave professionally. All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers at the Conference are required to agree with a code of conduct that ensures a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity, and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. In the sole discretion of KYSHRM Conference organizers, we reserve the right to refuse admittance to or expel from the Conference, without refund, any person or persons who are determined to be behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the Conference or any other attendee.

Agenda

KYSHRM reserves the right to make any necessary changes to the Conference agenda. Every effort will be made to keep presentations and speakers as represented. However, unforeseen circumstances may result in the substitution of a presentation topic or speaker.

Travel and Lodging

Participants are responsible for making and paying for all travel arrangements for participation in the Conference, including but not limited to transportation, lodging and meals.

Cancellations/Substitutions

Cancellations must be received no later than five business days prior to the event to receive a refund. After this date, no cash refunds will be granted. Substitutions are welcome. Special accommodations made upon request.

Privacy Statement

The views expressed by any Conference attendee, speaker, exhibitor, or sponsor are not necessarily those of KYSHRM. All conference attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and sponsors are solely responsible for the content of all individual or corporation presentations, marketing collateral, advertising and online Web content.
