Call ahead to confirm operating days and hours and make reservations when available, especially for large groups.

Like a good Bourbon takes time before it can be fully enjoyed, make sure you allow plenty of time for dining experiences as some establishments may be operating with limited staff.

Driving to Louisville
Louisville is within a day’s drive of over half the U.S. population. Consider your location as a short drive may be closer than you think. The city sits at the intersection of Interstates 65, 64 and 71. The average distance of the top 15 drive markets is 250 miles and touches cities like Chicago, St. Louis, Memphis, Atlanta, and Charleston, WV.
Flying to Louisville
All major airlines provide service to Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) with nearly 40 direct destinations. Check out airlines and direct destinations at www.flylouisville.com. The airport is located just 7 miles from downtown Louisville and the Kentucky International Convention Center (KICC). It sits less than one mile from the Kentucky Exposition Center (KEC).
Air Travel Tips
Visitation to Louisville continues to grow and the airport is experiencing record travel numbers. Please make note of the following tips:
The heaviest departure times are between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
Anyone departing during peak time is encouraged to arrive two and a half hours before their scheduled flight.

Getting Around Town

Rideshare opportunities are also available through Uber and Lyft. Please note that drivers are in high demand, so plan for possible wait times or schedule your ride in advance.
If you are going short distances downtown, consider hopping on a scooter. Bird or Lime scooters can be found throughout downtown, NuLu and surrounding neighborhoods. They can be easily located within their individual app platforms or when using some general transit apps.
Louisville also boasts a very walkable downtown with many of the city’s top attractions and urban bourbon distilleries all within several downtown blocks.
